A CENTRAL STARTING POINT

Sønderborg is a central starting point for many companies and their business contacts. The proximity to the rest of Europe means there is no lack of people who are skilled in several languages, and Denmark’s largest trade partner, Germany, can be reached by car in 30 minutes.

You can travel to Copenhagen in 40 minutes several times a day from the airport in Sønderborg. Sønderborg town is centrally located; both Åbenrå and Flensburg to the west are only a half-hour drive away.  And to the east you will find large companies such as Linak, Danfoss and Siemens on the island Als.

The new motorway, which will be completed in 2012, will connect Sønderborg directly to the big European motorway E45.
