TRANSPORT TO AND FROM SØNDERBORG
Take the ferry from Funen, a bus to Germany or a plane to Copenhagen. There are many ways in which you can travel to the Sønderborg area.
Bus transport
TAKE THE BUS IN SØNDERBORG
There are more than 35 bus lines in the Sønderborg area. Town buses, night buses and local and regional buses take you safely around the region.
BY AIR TO AND FROM ALS
FLY YOURSELF OR WITH CIMBER
With your own airport in Sønderborg and several daily departures to Copenhagen, the capital is never more than 40 minutes away. You can also land your own plane at Pøl Airport by Nordborg.
By ferry
The three ferries
Connects Als with Funen and Ærø in around an hour and with the mainland in 15 min.

Train connections
There are good train connections from all of Denmark, and there is a direct connection to Copenhagen every other hour.
The traffic hub in Middelfart has good connections to both northern and western Jutland.
