Sønderborg Student Foundation (SSF)

As the town of Sønderborg witnesses it's student population grow faster and faster over time, the need for a foundation that is there for all students in the area increases. This is why it is our vision to become platform for coordinating  student-related activities and safeguarding all student interests. To achieve this ambitious vision, we make a distinction between six different goals:

•  between the centers of higher education in Sønderborg in order to find synergies and encourage cooperation.
•  the students from the different centers of higher education through joint events and initiatives.
•  current and prospective students about everything the Sønderborg region has to offer.
•  students to the career possibilities that corporations in the Sønderborg region have to offer.
•  the Sønderborg region on an international scale.
•  all student interests towards local institutions and government.
  

We believe in a concept that we call the ‘by students for students'-concept. Meaning that the best and only optimal way to communicate with our target group and achieve the goals described above, is to actually be a part of this target group.

We communicate with all our different stakeholders (students, organizations, companies etc) through this website, different events and on-site promotions. We are always ‘in the field', seeking the latest information, uniting people and enhancing the development of Sønderborg; the polishing of a diamond in the rough!
